Christmas- Texas Style

We decided to get out of the house for awhile and go on a little adventure last night.  We drove about an hour away to a little town called Bandera, Texas.   They were having their Christmas celebration.  We sat around a campfire & chuck wagon drinking hot chocolate enjoying the Christmas songs performed by a cowboy country band.  We were surrounded by a lot of older couples- it was great.  After it got dark we turned our chairs to the riverbank where there was a live nativity being acted out with live music.  They even had real animals- sheeps, a donkey, and a camel!  Honestly the production was a little lame, but the concept was fun!  The town puts together over 100 Christmas trees made of lights in their park.  We drove through to see all of the pretty lights.  It was a lot of fun.  My friend Paige and her 3 boys joined us for the evening.  Hyrum, Kaden, and Quentin love Eli.  They call him baby Eli and love it when baby Eli picks them up from school.  Hyrum is silly and likes to call Eli "Mr. E" and give him lots of kisses.  It's pretty cute.  Hyrum really wanted to be in the picture with Mr. E- that's why there's an extra member of the family in the picture above :-)
